The paths we paved in 2019

At SIM, we celebrate multiple pathways to success. All learners are empowered to reach their goals, regardless of their starting point and the life stage they are in. We encourage them to define their own peaks of success and decide how they want to scale that peak. Our role is to open up multiple pathways so that they can find their fit, achieve their aspirations, and be the best for themselves and the society they live in.

In 2019, we paved the way for over 26,000 different learners to optimise their potential with us through industry-relevant curriculum, holistic personal development programmes, inspiring thought leadership initiatives, and opportunities to network and learn from our vibrant learning community.

SIM GLOBAL EDUCATION ALUMNI

From the classroom
to the boardroom

Education must serve a bigger purpose. For many of our learners, it is not just to gain the professional competence that they need to succeed in their careers but also to contribute to their communities. Regardless of what their aspirations are, our learners will always find a track from our multiple pathways that will lead them to their own peaks. Our full‐time, part‐time as well as continuing education and training programmes combine academic rigour with industry relevance, preparing both our school leavers as well as professionals, managers and executives to excel in a fast‐changing world.

From skillsets
to mindsets

Real-world readiness extends beyond knowledge and skills; it requires adaptability, critical and creative thinking, as well as social skills and tenacity. To produce well-rounded talents for the workforce, we offer a myriad of student development activities as pathways for our learners to pursue their passions, build their character, develop essential soft skills, and broaden their worldview — all while having fun.

From eager learners
to thought leaders

There are lessons that only experience can teach. For those, we turn to world thinkers and business leaders who have walked the path that our learners aspire toward. Our thought leadership programmes bring together subject matter experts, including our own alumni, to inspire our learners with their insights and best practices.

From the individual
to the collective

When we learn together, and from one another, the journey becomes more enriching and meaningful. This learning becomes amplified when we are part of a vibrant, collaborative community of like‐minded people and organisations. To harness the power of the collective, we continue to deepen our engagement within and beyond our learning ecosystem of members, alumni, students, local and overseas faculty and trainers, and staff.
